Job summary

Sugared + Bronzed in New York is seeking a friendly Salon Receptionist to welcome clients, check them in/out, schedule appointments, and keep the front of house smooth and inviting. You’ll be part of a supportive team in a fast-paced, service‑driven environment.

This role offers consistent 7‑hour shifts with both part‑time and full‑time options, competitive hourly pay, and growth opportunities toward becoming an Airbrush Technician, with gratuity and product sales earnings.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and check out clients using the appointment system.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of services, memberships, and products.
• Maintain front of house cleanliness and organization, including lobby and shelves.
• Support back of house tasks (laundry, disposables) and keep a clean work area.
• Answer client questions about appointments and care.
• Respond to client emails and texts regarding appointments and services.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Our Salon Receptionists are passionate about creating an exceptional experience for every client. From the moment a client walks through the door to their final interaction before leaving, receptionists make every part of the S+B salon experience welcoming, smooth, and seamless. In this role, you will check clients in and out, schedule appointments, maintain cleanliness throughout the salon, and respond to phone calls and text messages. At the heart of it all, each store operates like a supportive, tight knit team focused on delivering the best client experience.

RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet, check in, and check out clients with our appointment booking system.
• Learn and maintain strong knowledge of services, memberships, and products.
• Maintain front of house organization and cleanliness, including the lobby and product shelves.
• Support back of house upkeep, including laundry, disposables, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Answer client questions about appointments, and before and after service care.
• Respond to client emails and text messages regarding appointments and services.

The pay range for this role is:

18.57 - 18.57 USD per hour (NY - NYC Metro - Park Slope)
