Job summary

Drybar is seeking a receptionist to provide friendly, efficient front-desk support in a fast-paced salon environment. You will manage reservations, handle payments, and ensure a positive shop atmosphere while supporting stylists and management.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• POS systems experience strongly preferred; salon/spa experience optional.
• Maintain a professional and brand-appropriate image.
• Organize shop flow between clients and team members.
• Serve as subject matter expert in the reservation system.
• Maximize appointments and ensure timely communication.
• Handle client payments and tips with high ethics; balance cash drawer.
• Communicate clearly with shop management.
• Demonstrate strong communication, be a self-starter and solve problems.
• Assist with shop cleanliness and support stylists when needed.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and brand-appropriate image in the shop.
• Organize and execute shop flow between clients and team in a positive manner.
• Act as SME in reservation system; ensure client information is recorded accurately.
• Optimize appointments with the reservation system and communicate with team.
• Balance cash drawer at opening, during shifts, and at close.
• Maintain clear communication with management about shop operations.
• Assist with cleanliness and support stylists to improve efficiency.
