Job summary

Kenney HR Consulting represents a growing salon group seeking experienced Salon Managers for both locations. You will oversee daily operations, front desk, scheduling, and staff development while maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for clients and employees.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to partner with ownership and HR to uphold standards and drive team engagement across two busy salons.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience in a salon, spa, or customer-facing environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily salon operations and front desk functions.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to team members.
• Coordinate employee schedules and ensure proper coverage.
• Maintain organized, professional, welcoming front desk and salon environment.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures and daily checklists are completed.
• Train front desk staff and assistants on expectations and client service standards.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
• Establish consistency, accountability, and clear expectations among the team.
• Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day employee questions.
• Support communication between employees, salon leadership, and ownership.
• Identify operational or staffing concerns and partner with HR for support.
• Help resolve scheduling, coverage, and client service issues.
• Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace culture.
• Ensure policies and standards are followed.
