Job summary

JCPenney Salon is seeking a Salon Manager to guide the team in delivering an outstanding client experience while coaching stylists to reach top performance. You may work behind the chair up to 8 hours per week with your own clientele, supporting a high-volume salon environment.

You will recruit, train and coach staff, manage merchandising and service standards, and drive retail and service results through strong leadership and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• A current cosmetology license is required in the state you are applying.
• Leads and coaches the team to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Develops associates through coaching, feedback and training opportunities.
• Drives service sales, client loyalty andOperational standards through leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead client experience and support stylists to deliver exceptional service.
• Proactively recruit qualified stylists via social media, referrals and local salons/schools.
• Review reports to identify opportunities and set direction for productivity and client metrics.
• Manage merchandising, backbar, and product issues to support client experience.
• Ensure adherence to hiring practices and safety regulations across the salon team.
