Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking outgoing, energetic leaders to represent our brand and develop sales teams to increase profits and customer satisfaction. You will participate in a comprehensive training program to prepare for a management track and oversee store operations.

The role emphasizes meeting sales targets, managing staff, and maintaining a safe, compliant store environment while delivering excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in a retail/customer service environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time (7+ hours).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Meet sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Complete company operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
• Achieve financial objectives through effective monitoring of controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and other expenses.
• Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with all legal requirements.
• Manage and assign tasks to ensure the store is clean, stocked, organized, and customer ready.
• Establish rapport with customers, building loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyze daily sales and expense information and perform all other financial analysis to maximize sales and net profits.
• Safeguard and account for all money received, and be responsible for banking requirements.
