Qualifications

• 3+ years behind a chair as a Barber or Stylist in a fast-paced environment.
• Active Cosmetology or Barber license in California.
• Minimum of two years of relevant leadership experience or equivalent education/work.
• Experience managing 6–10 employees.
• Strong client-service orientation and high-quality service delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and dispute resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed key operating and financial metrics with shop revenue, average ticket, client headcount, retention, labor and costs.
• Ensure proper staff coverage during all hours by focusing on tech hours and productivity.
• Coach Floyd's 99 shop employees in training, product knowledge and performance.
• Facilitate monthly shop meetings and communicate district initiatives to employees.
• Oversee inventory processes including ordering, invoicing, and counts.

Total Compensation: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour +

Responsibilities:

At Floyd's 99 Barbershop our Shop Mangers are responsible for creating an environment that ensures excellence in Floyd's 99 standards in client service, client and employee retention, technical proficiency, and in-shop safety standards. The Shop Manager is the primary contact for all shop personnel.

• Meet or exceed key operating and financial metrics with a full understanding of shop revenue, average ticket, client headcount and retention, labor and cost control.
• Ensure proper staff coverage during all hours of operation by focusing on tech hours and productivity.
• Responsible for the management/coaching of Floyd's 99 Shop Employees in training, product knowledge, skills development, job performance, and recognition.
• Facilitate monthly shop meetings, communicating new or updated company and/or district initiatives to Employees.
• Oversee inventory processes including order accuracy, timely invoicing entry and submission, maintaining adequate inventory levels and conducting physical counts.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years behind a chair as a Barber or Stylist in a fast-paced environment.
• Active Cosmetology or Barber license in California.
• Minimum of two years of relevant leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Previous experience with managing 6-10 employees
• Strong client-service orientation including commitment to consistent high-quality service and delivery.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including dispute resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain a strong and productive team environment.
• Maintain flexible work hours including nights and weekends.
