Job Description:

The Salon Manager is responsible for all facets of a salon’s operations and provides leadership and tools for staff to help them increase their clientele and the business. The Salon Manager also provides all hair care services offered by Supercuts and ensures the highest quality guest service standards and salon profitability. The Salon Manager provides guests with excellent service, offering the full range of hair care services provided by their salon.

Minimal Qualifications:

• Current Missouri cosmetology or barber license
• Ability to effectively lead and develop a team, creating a positive work environment, training and guiding on business and technical matters, and resolving associate issues
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Exceptional guest service skills, including understanding guest needs, providing quality consultations, and performing services efficiently and professionally
• Ability to perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, transactions, close-out procedures, and light housekeeping duties (banking, inventory, staff meetings)
• Ability to resolve guest issues

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for extended periods
• Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms
• Grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level
• Exposure to various chemicals and fragrances used in services
• Close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment for hair observation
• Effective communication with guests regarding services and needs
• Occasional travel for meetings, sometimes overnight
