Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in Austin, TX is seeking outgoing leaders to join our management track. You will recruit, train, and coach sales staff, drive profitability, and ensure excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, 7+ hours/day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and coaching staff.
• Schedule and assign employees; follow up on work results.
• Monitor expenses to contribute to financial objectives.
• Ensure store compliance with legal requirements and policies.
• Assign tasks to keep stores clean, stocked, organized, customer ready.
• Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
• Create a positive, team-based work environment.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profit.
• Safeguard and account for all money and banking duties.
