Job summary

SmartStyle Hair Salon inside Walmart is seeking a Salon Manager to lead a high-traffic, high-growth salon. You’ll recruit, coach, and mentor a team, manage scheduling, inventory, and guest service, and drive profitability on a busy floor.

This role requires a current Cosmetology or Barber license, the ability to work 38+ hours, and strong leadership. You’ll be rewarded with monthly and annual bonuses based on salon growth and guest counts.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Cosmetology or Barber license (and a Manager's license if required by state).
• Comfortable working 38+ hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Tech-savvy with basic math and able to handle administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build a powerhouse team by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring talent; coach stylists to excel.
• Master salon operations: scheduling, inventory, and financials to keep the salon profitable and stocked.
• Lead by example with expert cuts, color, and guest service while maintaining a positive team culture.
