Job summary

Sport Clips is seeking a dynamic Salon Coordinator to join our team in McMurray, PA. You will greet clients, manage reception, handle transactions, assist with retail sales, and support the salon’s smooth operation from front desk to the floor.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office) and basic social media platforms.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry.
• Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, front desk or salon coordination is preferred but not required.
• Working towards a cosmetology or barber license is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with a warm and welcoming attitude and ensure a positive first impression.
• Answer phone calls and address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area and retail displays.
• Handle financial transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments.
• Assist in retail sales with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Monitor and maintain salon inventory and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with the salon team to ensure smooth flow from reception to cutting floor.
• Complete secondary duties such as cleaning, prep, laundry, sanitation, and stocking.
