Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, mentor tanning consultants, and uphold operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead by example, coach staff, manage scheduling, control inventory and costs, and ensure a high‑quality client experience while achieving sales targets. The role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, and about 35–45 hours weekly, depending on status.

Qualifications

• Management and/or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment and delegate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales goals.
• Maintain a professional and clean salon environment.
• Set goals and provide coaching to Team Members.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with salon director functions.
• Help control top line revenue and expenses and staffing levels.
