Job summary

Sport Clips is seeking an energetic Salon Coordinator in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for someone currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school, mid-program, to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced salon.

You will greet clients, handle phones and scheduling, and support daily operations while learning Sport Clips systems and service standards through ongoing training. Flexible scheduling for students and employee discounts on services and products are offered.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and create a positive first impression.
• Answer phones, assist with scheduling, and manage client flow.
• Support salon operations and daily tasks.
• Assist with retail sales and product recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized salon environment.
• Assist with laundry, sanitation, stocking, station prep, and upkeep.
• Participate in local marketing and social media.
• Learn Sport Clips systems and service standards through training.

Sport Clips is looking for an energetic and motivated Salon Coordinator to join our team! This position is ideal for someone currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school who is more than halfway through their program and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced salon environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome clients and create a positive first impression from the moment they walk in
• Answer phones, assist with scheduling, and help manage client flow
• Support the salon team to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Assist with retail sales and product recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment
• Help with laundry, sanitation, stocking, station prep, and general salon upkeep
• Participate in local marketing and social media efforts
• Learn Sport Clips systems, customer service standards, and salon operations through ongoing training

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school and at least halfway through your program
• Passion for the hair industry and eagerness to grow your career
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Customer service experience is a plus, but not required
