Job summary

Sport Clips is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Salon Coordinator to join our team and help deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of the salon.

In this role you will greet clients, answer calls, manage the reception area, process transactions, assist in retail sales, monitor inventory, support marketing efforts, and work closely with the Store Manager to keep everything running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, receptionist, front desk or salon coordination preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with computer applications, Microsoft Office, and basic social media platforms.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with a warm, welcoming attitude and ensure a positive experience from the moment they enter.
• Answer phone calls and address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and retail displays.
• Handle financial transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Assist in retail sales with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Monitor salon inventory and place orders for supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the salon team to ensure smooth flow from reception to cutting floor.
• Complete secondary responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager (vacuuming, cleaning, stocking, etc.).
• Assist in marketing efforts, including local neighborhood marketing and social media updates.
• Participate in Sport Clips training.
