Sun Tan City is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to maintain a high-energy environment and drive client-centric service. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, coach staff, and help meet productivity goals while leading by example in daily operations.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, effective coaching, and ensuring an impeccably clean salon. A background in retail management and the ability to work nights, weekends, and long hours are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Set clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Maintain proper staffing levels to maximize productivity and service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and long hours as required for management coverage.
• Reliable transportation to bank visits as needed.
• Work five days per week with a 40–45 hour schedule.
