• Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, tools, and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist with retail sales through upselling products like hair care items, makeup, nail care products, and other beauty essentials.
• Provide excellent client communication by answering questions about services, explaining hair coloring techniques based on color theory, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Support hairstyling and barbering services by preparing tools such as straight razors or other equipment needed for grooming procedures.
• Mentor new team members when needed and foster a collaborative atmosphere focused on continuous learning and growth.

Experience

• Previous experience working in the beauty industry is a plus; familiarity with cosmetology or barbering is a plus.
• Must have an active cosmetology permit or license.
• Hands-on experience with hair care techniques including coloring, styling, extensions, and hair threading enhances your candidacy.
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with clients effectively and supporting team collaboration.
• A solid understanding of sanitation practices within a salon environment ensures safety for both clients and staff.
