Job summary

Santa Monica Seafood is seeking a Loader for its Santa Monica facility to support a production-driven team in a refrigerated warehouse. You will move boxes, palletize products, and assist with daily logistics while complying with safety standards.

Working hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Saturday with one day off during the week; pay is $18.50 per hour. This role offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and a 401K with match.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Warehouse experience.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Be able to work in a refrigerated work environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

• Empty boxes onto a conveyor belt.
• Remove the scales from the fish.
• Put boxes on the finished product pallet.

Santa Monica Seafood, as an 80-year-old privately owned company, is the largest specialty wholesale distribution and processor of fresh and frozen seafood in the Southwestern U.S. with over 200,000 SF of facilities in 12 locations In California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas. Santa Monica Seafood is also well known locally for its cafe in Santa Monica.

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
