MyGreat Recruitment Inc. in Salinas, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will coordinate documentation, assist with cost and schedule tracking, and ensure clear communication between office and field teams.

The role emphasizes building expertise in heavy civil construction, with mentorship from seasoned managers and opportunities to advance toward project leadership within a locally based team.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience in construction, preferably in water/wastewater, civil, or industrial projects
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and tracking
• Basic understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications
• Experience supporting: Submittals and RFIs, Project documentation and reporting & Scheduling and coordination efforts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with field teams, subcontractors, and internal staff

Mansioni

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the execution of construction projects
• Assist with preparation and tracking of: Submittals, RFIs, Change orders & Meeting minutes and reports
• Maintain organized and accurate project documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and information
• Track project progress, quantities, and productivity data
• Assist with cost tracking, budgeting support, and forecasting updates
• Review drawings and specifications to support field execution
• Help ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Participate in project meetings and provide clear, timely follow-ups
• Support procurement activities and material tracking
• Primarily based in Salinas, CA, with regular visits to local project sites
• Collaborative environment working closely with project managers, superintendents, and field crews
• Minimal travel required compared to regional or federal project roles
