Job summary

Caliagua, Inc. in California seeks a Project Engineer to support submittals, RFIs, procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, and project management across water, wastewater, and building projects.

Responsibilities include developing schedules in Primavera P6, preparing scopes of work, reviewing quotes, supporting subcontract awards, and maintaining cost awareness with regular reporting and cross‑team communication at a fast pace.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, track, and coordinate submittals and RFIs.
• Supports procurement, purchase orders, subcontracts, and material tracking.
• Assist with developing construction schedules in Primavera P6.
• Help prepare scopes of work (SOW), review quotes, and support subcontract awards.
• Manage cost tracking while maintaining financial awareness.
• This includes supporting billing, quantity tracking, job cost reporting, and change management.
• Communicate with project teams, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients; attend project meetings.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Travel to project sites including occasional overnight travel as needed.
