Job summary

Civiltec Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in water and wastewater projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead design efforts, apply civil engineering principles, and act as a technical advisor on a range of public works initiatives.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to design standards, and the preparation of plans and permits. A California PE or extensive design experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the state of California preferred or extensive designer experience.
• 3–5 years of Project Engineer experience in civil engineering incl. water/wastewater.
• Proficiency with Civil3D, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS software.

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in the design and management of water-related projects.

Some major responsibilities you're in charge of:

• Apply extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices across diverse project areas
• Serve as a technical specialist, staff adviser and consultant to the civil engineering specialty, for any given water/wastewater, land/site development, and/or public works project
• Undertake complex assignments, pioneering new civil engineering techniques or procedures to enhance project outcomes
• Ensure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production, codes, and established design standards
• Direct and perform the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications for projects

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
• Registered Professional Engineer in the state of California (we're seeking a certified Project Engineer but we also value candidates who possess extensive experience as a designer, capable of performing engineering duties at an advanced level).
• At least 3-5 years of Project Engineer experience in the field of civil engineering including water, wastewater
• An expert using Civil3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS software programs
