Job summary

Getz Fire Equipment Company is seeking a Fire Protection Sales professional to estimate and sell fire alarm and fixed hazards systems, plus inspection contracts, across eastern Iowa and Quad Cities.

You will learn NFPA/IBC codes, build relationships in your territory, prepare detailed estimates and quotes, and travel up to 25% as required. This role offers the chance to become a trusted life-safety expert delivering world-class protection.

Qualifications

• Experience selling fire protection systems preferred.
• Able to learn NFPA and IBC codes and AHJ requirements.
• Ability to prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and quotes.
• Willing to travel up to 25% within the territory.

You'll learn and apply applicable NFPA and IBC codes, local Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements, and manufacturer's specifications. What You'll Do

• Estimate and sell fire alarm and fixed special hazards suppression systems
• Sell inspection contracts for those systems and other fire protection services
• Learn and apply NFPA and IBC codes, local Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements, and manufacturer's specifications
• Build and manage customer relationships across your territory, tracking activity in our CRM
• Prepare accurate, detail-oriented estimates, proposals, and quotes
• Travel overnight up to 25% in a week as the territory requires
• Take on other duties as assigned
