Job Description

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires a good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system and parts knowledge, and the ability to source goods from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers. The role also requires in‑depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part time or full time. Fleet safety certification preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets.
  • Provide DIY services, including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards.
  • Manage inventory processes: truck put away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, back stock, and related tasks.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
  • Support general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.
  • Deliver parts to customers safely as needed.
Success Factors

Store Driver

Entry level store position capable of supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role involves delivering parts, assisting with inventory tasks, and maintaining store cleanliness. Position can be part time or full time and must be fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
  • Pick up returns and cores.
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
  • Collect daily credit accounts.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
  • Support general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.

Physical Demands

The employee will predominantly be walking or standing, and must be able to talk and hear, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds are required. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Employees usually work inside but may be outside and exposed to various weather conditions, including installing batteries and wiper blades. The job may expose workers to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
