Job description

Salesperson

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and part knowledge. The candidate must be able to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ and external suppliers, and must have in‑depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part time or full time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stock.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• General stocking: truck stocking and back‑stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

Prior Experience

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.

Store Driver

Entry level store position capable of supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role is responsible for delivering parts to commercial customers and assisting with task and inventory processes in the store. Position can be part time or full time and must be fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities (Driver)

• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.

Secondary Responsibilities (Driver)

• Maintain store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• General stocking: truck stocking and back‑stock.

Physical Demands

The physical demands and work environment are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will predominantly be walking or standing, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds, and be able to perform tasks that require reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The work environment involves primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure to weather conditions while installing batteries and wiper blades. The employee may also be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock risk, explosives, and vibration. Noise levels are usually moderate.
