Job summary

Pratt Guys Pools and Outdoor Living in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Outdoor Living Consultant to guide clients from initial concept through final design and budget approval. You will work closely with our Design and Build teams, educate clients on materials and maintenance, and manage budgets with a focus on delivering exceptional outdoor living spaces.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in luxury sales or custom homes, strong communication skills, and a passion for turning dreams into outdoor

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Consult with Customers:

• Consulting & working closely with our clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Develop tailored budgets to their lifestyle & space.
• Build continued client relationships & follow through
• Educate our clients on materials, maintenance, durability, and Pratt Guys
• Working hand in hand with our award winning Design Team to ensure that we are staying on budget throughout the Design process along with achieving the clients needs.
• Lead the sales process from the first initial consultation with the Client all the way to a finalized Design & final approved budget

Develop Tailored Budgets & Estimates:

• Create, prepare, and present detailed Budgets & Estimates
• Detailed Estimates will provide our Clients & Pratt Guys a great understanding of the final scope and lead us to a successful execution of the project
• Oversee cost as needed throughout the build process to ensure numbers are aligning with the initial approved budgets
• Coordinate with our Design Team and Build Team so we can bring our concepts to life.
• Stay current with industry trends, innovative materials, and cutting-edge techniques.
• Participate in internal sales reviews and contribute to the development of the sales process.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in luxury sales or custom homes
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client interaction skills.
• Must be a charismatic, articulate, and personable communicator with the ability to engage, persuade, and connect with people effortlessly
• Strong mathematical and numerical skills, with the ability to confidently calculate costs, quantities, measurements, percentages, margins, and project budgets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in typing
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage prospective clients and meet deadlines effectively.
• Must be willing to sign and comply with Pratt Guys’ Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Non-Compete Agreement (NCA), as permitted by applicable law, as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in luxury sales or custom homes
• Degree in Bachelor of Sales or related field, Construction Management, Business Management, Interior Design or related field
• Familiarity with web-based CRM, Estimating, or communication tools (e.g., BuilderTrend, Slack, Coda).
• Experience in high-end residential or commercial outdoor living projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and materials
