Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World in Amarillo, TX is seeking an experienced Salesperson to support the dealership’s trailer and parts sales initiatives. The role involves answering sales calls, assisting customers on-site, quoting trailers, preparing invoicing paperwork, and maintaining attractive merchandising in the sales yard and parts area.

The successful candidate will plan outside sales calls to develop wholesale business, attend trade shows, and help manage weekly inventory and order files.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of commissioned sales experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer sales calls.
• Assist customers visiting dealership.
• Quote trailers for customers.
• Prepare sales paperwork and deliver to office administration daily for invoicing.
• Coordinate, organize and maintain the display and merchandising of the sales yard.
• Coordinate, organize and properly display Parts Department.
• Assist in maintaining the general organization of the front office to create a friendly and professional appearance.
• Handle cash transactions and report to office administration per cash handling policies.
• Plan and execute outside sales calls to develop wholesale business with guidance from Store Manager.
• Attend trade shows and events to drive overall sales at the dealership.
• Assist in completing weekly inventory reports.
• Maintain up-to-date order files for all trailers and parts sold.
• Other duties as assigned.
