Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Technical Business Analyst based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise products at the intersection of Salesforce, DevOps, security, data protection, and AI. You will own product strategy and execution across a portfolio of Salesforce-native solutions serving complex enterprise environments. Working closely with executive leadership, engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and major customers, you will turn technical and market insights into high-impact product capabilities.

A major focus will be defining the next generation of AI-powered DevOps, governance, security, and data management experiences.

You will combine deep Salesforce expertise with hands-on product management, from customer discovery and roadmap definition through delivery and release. The role is designed for an experienced product leader who wants significant ownership and influence over the future of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Accountabilities
  • Define and drive a multi-year product roadmap across five product areas covering DevOps, Backup & Archive, Trust Center, Data Seeding, and DevOps for Veeva.
  • Identify opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem to create new product categories, address customer needs, and expand market opportunities.
  • Translate deep Salesforce platform knowledge—including metadata architecture, deployment models, Agentforce, Data Cloud, security, and multi-org environments—into enterprise product capabilities.
  • Monitor Salesforce product releases and ecosystem developments to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Lead the development of AI-powered DevOps capabilities, including intelligent deployment agents, AI-assisted code review, automated security scanning, and predictive release management.
  • Define how extensibility capabilities can support customer-specific AI workflows while operating within the Salesforce trust boundary.
  • Develop product approaches for agent-aware governance and enterprise management of autonomous AI systems.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers and prospects to understand challenges related to Salesforce development, security, compliance, and data management.
  • Translate complex enterprise requirements, including SOX compliance, zero-trust architecture, multi-org environments, and regulated-industry needs, into practical product solutions.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on strategic accounts, product demonstrations, deal strategy, and competitive evaluations.
  • Create detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation.
  • Partner closely with engineering on sprint planning, backlog prioritization, release coordination, and delivery against product priorities.
  • Define and monitor product KPIs such as adoption, activation, expansion, NPS, and competitive win rates.
  • Conduct customer discovery, competitive research, and market analysis to continuously refine product strategy.
  • Drive product-led feedback loops across Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to improve product-market alignment and customer outcomes.
  • Support product launches, ecosystem engagement, thought leadership, and initiatives designed to expand product adoption and market reach.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, including at least 3 years focused on the Salesforce ecosystem or Salesforce-adjacent platforms.
  • Deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform, including metadata-driven architecture, deployment pipelines, sandboxes, packaging, security models, Apex, Lightning, and the ISV partner ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of shipping enterprise products that have been adopted and purchased by large organizations, particularly Fortune 500 or regulated-industry customers.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, release management, security, compliance, or related enterprise technology is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and competitive landscape, including solutions such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Salto, and Salesforce DX.
  • Strong perspective on the role of AI and machine learning in Salesforce development and governance, particularly technologies such as Agentforce, Einstein, and Data Cloud.
  • Hands-on product management approach, with experience writing PRDs, engaging customers, reviewing designs or wireframes, and participating directly in sprint reviews and delivery activities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present product strategy to C-suite stakeholders and communicate detailed technical requirements to engineering teams.
  • Strong customer discovery and market research capabilities, with the ability to translate complex enterprise requirements into clear product opportunities.
  • Intellectual curiosity, independent judgment, strong ownership, and a bias toward action.
  • Experience building products within the Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem, ideally as an ISV or within a Salesforce-native product organization, is highly valued.
  • Experience at the intersection of DevOps, security, and compliance in regulated industries is preferred.
  • Experience with product-led growth, including self-service onboarding, in-product conversion, and expansion strategies, is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and articulate a multi-year vision for AI-driven and autonomous Salesforce development environments is advantageous.
  • Experience competing against established enterprise technology providers and differentiating through product capabilities is a plus.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary plus performance bonus.
  • Equity participation.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Remote work flexibility across the United States.
  • Hybrid work option available for candidates based near the San Ramon, California headquarters.
  • Direct exposure to enterprise and Fortune 100 customers.
  • Opportunities to participate in Salesforce ecosystem events and conferences, including Dreamforce and TrailblazerDX.
  • Direct collaboration with executive and engineering leadership.
  • Opportunity to shape products at the intersection of Salesforce, DevOps, security, data protection, and AI.
  • High level of ownership and influence over product strategy and roadmap.
  • Customer-facing opportunities involving complex enterprise technology environments.
  • Opportunity to contribute to thought leadership and broader Salesforce ecosystem engagement.
