Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to lead end-to-end enterprise Salesforce solutions across complex initiatives in the United States. You will design scalable architectures, data models, and integrations, guiding teams to ensure strategic alignment and measurable impact on operations.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, expertise in Apex, LWC, Platform Events, and strong security/data governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture for complex enterprise initiatives.
• Translate requirements into scalable Salesforce architecture and implementation roadmaps.
• Design solutions using Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, Platform Events, and external services.
• Establish architectural standards for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Govern integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Define Salesforce data architecture including relationships and data quality strategies.
• Implement Salesforce security architecture with profiles, permission sets, OAuth, and integration security.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, DevOps, and stakeholders to align solutions with strategy.

Experience Range

With at least 8 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including significant expertise designing and architecting enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions as a Salesforce Architect, Technical Architect, or Solution Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture for complex enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable impact on operational efficiency.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable Salesforce architecture, data models, integration patterns, and actionable implementation roadmaps.
• Design solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and external services to deliver robust functionality.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards for scalability, performance, maintainability, security, and reliability across Salesforce applications.
• Design and govern integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, middleware, and API management platforms, optimizing for reliability and throughput.
• Define Salesforce data architecture, including object relationships, data ownership, data quality, and integration strategies, with measurable improvements in data accuracy and accessibility.
• Implement Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, permission sets, sharing, field-level security, OAuth, and integration security, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, enterprise architecture, security, DevOps/SRE, business stakeholders) to align Salesforce solutions with broader technology strategy and drive successful project delivery.

• Salesforce Service Cloud architecture and configuration (Field Service, Case Management, Self Service, Digital Engagement)
• Salesforce Sales Cloud architecture and territory management

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including OOP/OOD, design patterns, 12-factor principles, and software architecture
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external applications and services
• Strong backend development experience, preferably .NET, although Java or another object-oriented language would also work
• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies

Preferred Skills

• Enterprise architecture frameworks and aligning Salesforce solutions to organizational technology strategy
• Deployment automation, monitoring, alerting, and Salesforce org observability
• Multi-org strategy, environment management, and deployment architecture

Desired Qualifications
