Job summary

Steampunk in McLean, VA seeks a Salesforce Solution Architect with 10+ years in CRM and enterprise architecture to own the overall solution design for large-scale implementations. You will partner with clients, mentor analysts, and ensure solutions align with security standards while driving reusable accelerators.

You will collaborate with the Technical Architect and PM to discuss risk, mitigate issues, and communicate complex designs. Federal contracting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of industry/CRM experience with 7+ years as enterprise/platform architect.
• Hands-on experience designing on the force.com platform (Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Visualforce).
• Experience with Lightning Framework on force.com and JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Salesforce Platform Developer, Administrator, Experience and/or Service Cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical consultation on product and solutions based on customer requirements.
• Creates and presents an organization-wide roadmap aligning customer needs to Salesforce solutions.
• Designs/architects the solution and supports development for large-scale customers.
• Validates solution components and provides walkthroughs with customers; identifies risks and presents alternatives.
• Drives innovation by creating reusable components, tools, accelerators, and increasing adoption during delivery.
• Ensures alignment of standards, frameworks, and security with business and tech strategy.
• Acts as technical liaison for customers and internal teams.
• Participates in HCD workshops with business stakeholders.
