Job summary

Steampunk, Inc. in McLean, VA, seeks a Salesforce Developer to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative and programmatic tools such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, workflows, and data migrations.

You will develop, test, document, and maintain solutions and integrations, execute unit tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards while collaborating with Technical Architects and Business Analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce development.
• 4+ years of experience in related roles.
• Functional knowledge of Salesforce data structure for complex processes.
• Proven knowledge of Visualforce, Apex, Force.com APIs, and Web Services.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
• Salesforce Developer certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality SFDC solutions.
• Manage improvements and new functionality in the SFDC platform.
• Deliver support for break/fix issues and ensure quality delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders on status and solutions.
• Perform Salesforce administration and development tasks (accounts, profiles, fields, reports, dashboards).
• Handle configuration tasks such as field/page updates and automated approvals.
• Maintain security and monitor SFDC usage for compliance.
• Interface with team and keep documentation and best practices up to date.
• Research integration issues and new Salesforce prototypes.
