Job summary

Epicor seeks a senior Salesforce architect to translate complex business requirements into scalable, governance-aligned solutions across CPQ, Billing, and related systems. You will lead end-to-end design and secure, scalable delivery in an enterprise environment.

You will mentor juniors, drive large Salesforce initiatives, and stay current with platform features to optimize performance and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years' experience with Salesforce administration and platform development in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years' experience supporting Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or equivalent solutions.
• Proven experience leading large Salesforce initiatives from requirements through deployment.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governance, release management, and lifecycle management.
• Proven expertise in business analysis, process mapping, solution design, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time management in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Job description

What you will be doing:

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable functional and technical solution designs across Salesforce ecosystems

• Lead architecture and end-to-end solution design for Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Revenue, and adjacent business systems

• Design and implement Salesforce solutions using declarative tools such as Flows, validation rules, approval processes, and custom objects

• Evaluate current-state vs. future-state architectures, identifying gaps and recommending improvements aligned to industry best practices

• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, performant, and aligned with Salesforce platform governance and lifecycle standards

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers and cross‑functional team members

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex CPQ and Billing issues while staying current with new Salesforce features and enhancements

What you will likely bring:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

• 8+ years' experience in Salesforce administration and platform development within enterprise environments

• 5+ years' experience supporting Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, or equivalent solutions

• Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale Salesforce initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment

• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governance, release management, and platform lifecycle management

• Proven expertise in business analysis, process mapping, solution design, and stakeholder facilitation

• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and time management skills in fast‑paced environments

What could set you apart:

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, CPQ and Billing Consultant Accredited Professional, or Platform Developer I / II

• Experience with Conga document generation and quote template design

• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
