Job summary

IC is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure quality from refinement to release. You will test custom Lightning Web Components, automations, and integrations, and write SOQL to validate complex data.

The role involves API testing with Postman, regression design, and owning release quality in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate across product streams, test end-to-end CRM processes, and build automated UI regression using Playwright.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software testing in Salesforce.
• Strong knowledge of standard and custom objects, relationships, Person Accounts, record types, automation and platform limits.
• Thorough understanding of the Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets and groups, custom permissions, roles, sharing rules and FLS.
• SOQL for data validation using Developer Console or the sf CLI.
• API testing with Postman: REST, JSON, authentication, HTTP status codes and error paths.
• Jira and a test management tool such as QMetry, Xray or Zephyr.
• Test design techniques: boundary values, equivalence classes, state transitions and role-based matrices.
• Hands-on UI test automation with Playwright or an equivalent framework, such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Proven ability to onboard rapidly, take full ownership of feature quality, work independently, and make proactive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Data generation and manipulation using tools like Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, or Workbench.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product streams and technical teams to understand end-to-end business processes across Salesforce implementations.
• Test features end-to-end across LWC screens and business logic from lead conversion to partner changes.
• Validate CRM processes including client onboarding, account assignment, and regulatory rules across regions.
• Validate end-to-end financial workflows: KYC verification, trading accounts, and deposits/withdrawals.
• Verify bi-directional API data exchange between Salesforce, proprietary services, and third-party platforms.
• Test inbound/outbound REST integrations with Postman including error handling and logs.
• Review security scenarios for different personas and access levels.
• Design and maintain test plans and regression suites in Jira and Qmetry/Xray/Zephyr.
• Investigate defects, write detailed reproduction steps, and coordinate with developers.
• Own test strategy and release quality within the product stream.
