Job summary

Vericence is seeking a Salesforce Principal Engineer to design, architect, develop, and maintain Sales Cloud applications. You will lead integration projects with MuleSoft and external systems, define upgrade roadmaps, and drive development efforts in an Agile setting.

The role requires hands-on expertise across Admin and Development of Salesforce Sales Cloud, plus strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will stay current with new Salesforce features and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years of demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions.
• Extensive experience in Lead Management, Territory Management, Collaborative Forecasting, and Pipeline Inspection.
• Proficiency in Salesforce security, data modelling, reports and dashboards; Apex programming; Lightning and LWC; SOQL and Visualforce.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP and third-party systems using MuleSoft or similar, in Agile environments.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration, problem solving, and ability to drive architecture roadmaps and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud customizations and configurations.
• Integrate Sales Cloud with external systems including ERP and third-party apps.
• Optimize performance, storage, and data integrity of Salesforce CRM solutions.
• Provide user training and ongoing technical support to ensure adoption of new functionality.
• Establish best practices for configuration and development; document solutions.
• Stay updated on Salesforce features and propose enhancements; participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Contribute to full SDLC (Kanban) with requirement analysis, story writing, design, implementation, and estimation.
