Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a Salesforce Platform Developer in Houston, TX to balance platform development, reporting, data analysis, and integrations. This role offers ownership and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

You will design and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow Builder; build reports and dashboards; ensure data quality and platform usability; and support integrations with third-party apps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Salesforce experience across admin, automation, data, and development.
• Experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong SFDC admin and declarative tools knowledge.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and custom report types.
• Experience with SF data management, imports/exports, and data quality.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and connected systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience documenting processes and technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and system-related knowledge articles
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business solutions
• Manage assigned projects from requirements through testing, deployment, and post-production support

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience spanning administration, reporting, automation, data management, and custom development
• Experience developing solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce administration and declarative development tools
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and custom report types
• Experience working with Salesforce data management, cleanup, imports, exports, and data quality initiatives
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, authentication concepts, and connected systems
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to independently manage projects and deliver solutions with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience documenting processes, solutions, and technical decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer certification
• Experience supporting Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud environments
• Experience with MuleSoft, Zapier, or similar integration platforms
• Experience with GitHub or source control best practices
• Experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Agentforce, Prompt Builder, or similar platforms
• Experience working within a small or midsize organization where team members wear multiple hats
