American Bath Group seeks a Senior Salesforce Lead to own enterprise platform governance and roadmap execution across multiple brands and environments.
You will partner with business leaders, internal tech teams, Salesforce, and implementation partners to translate needs into scalable Salesforce solutions while maintaining governance and security.
This role emphasizes optimization of an already mature platform, disciplined change management, and building internal capability for long-term success.
American Bath Group is a North American manufacturer of bathware products with a portfolio of established brands serving residential, commercial, retail, wholesale, and showroom channels. The organization operates across multiple businesses and technology environments, creating a need for enterprise platforms and integration capabilities that can scale with the company while remaining practical for the teams that use them.
American Bath Group is strengthening enterprise ownership of Salesforce and is looking for a senior platform leader who can connect business priorities with disciplined technical decisions.
The Salesforce environment is established and functioning. This is not a ground-up implementation. The opportunity is to take clear ownership of the platform, strengthen governance and roadmap discipline, simplify how business needs are solved, develop internal capability, and ensure Salesforce continues to scale as an integrated part of how the business operates.
The role will work across multiple business functions and Salesforce environments, partnering closely with business leaders, internal technology teams, Salesforce, and implementation partners.
Success will mean that Salesforce operates with clear ownership, an established governance model, an actionable enterprise roadmap, and better visibility into platform health, utilization, business adoption, and delivery performance.
The right leader will preserve what is working while creating a more disciplined operating model around prioritization, releases, platform decisions, vendor use, and internal delivery. Business stakeholders should increasingly view Salesforce as an integrated part of their operating processes rather than simply a technology platform.
The role is fundamentally about optimization and ownership, not rebuilding an environment that already has meaningful maturity.
Centralize enterprise Salesforce ownership so American Bath Group can maintain a stable, secure, well-governed platform while translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
The Salesforce Lead will own day-to-day platform stewardship, governance, administration, release and change discipline, roadmap development, vendor relationships, and the development of internal Salesforce capability.
Equally important, this person will work directly with business stakeholders to understand the underlying process need behind a request and determine whether Salesforce, an existing enterprise capability, or another solution represents the right answer.
The challenge is not fixing a broken platform. It is improving a functioning one without disrupting it.
The Salesforce Lead will inherit competing business demand, multiple stakeholder groups, existing technical decisions, external partners, and a platform that must continue supporting day-to-day operations while its governance and operating model become more disciplined.
The person in this role must be comfortable saying both “yes” and “no” for the right reasons. They will need to distinguish between a legitimate Salesforce opportunity and a request that creates unnecessary customization or technology sprawl, then explain that decision credibly to both business and technical audiences.
This requires judgment, not simply Salesforce expertise.
This is an opportunity to own more than a Salesforce backlog.
The person in this role will have the ability to shape how an enterprise uses Salesforce, influence technology and business decisions, establish a durable operating model, and develop internal capability around a platform that already matters to the organization.
For someone who enjoys improving mature platforms rather than constantly starting from zero, the role offers the ability to make visible changes in governance, adoption, delivery, simplification, and business partnership while retaining meaningful technical proximity to the platform.
Salesforce sits at the intersection of technology and important customer-facing business processes. As American Bath Group operates across a broad portfolio of businesses and brands, consistent platform ownership becomes increasingly important.
This role gives ABG a single leader accountable for turning Salesforce from a collection of capabilities and requests into a more coherent enterprise platform: one with clear priorities, disciplined decisions, stronger internal expertise, and a roadmap tied to business needs.
