About the Role

A NASDAQ-listed international enterprise dominating the internet media space is looking for a skilled Salesforce Engineer. This role focuses heavily on both server-side Apex development and front-end Lightning Web Components (LWC) creation. The selected candidate will be responsible for building projects, optimizing, and maintaining custom Salesforce components. These projects will help to improve and validate the efficiency of a Large Language Model (LLM).

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Apex - 3+ years
  2. Salesforce - 3+ years
  3. Lightning Components (Aura), LWC, and VF pages - 3 years
  4. Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST, Bulk API)
  5. Integration patterns
  6. PD1 (Platform Developer I)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance user experience within the Salesforce platform.
  2. Optimize LWC performance, ensuring responsive interfaces and smooth user interactions.
  3. Implement high-quality Apex classes, triggers, and batch processes for complex business logic, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  4. Integrate with external APIs and third-party applications, using Salesforce APIs and established integration patterns.
  5. Ensure top-notch security, data integrity, and compliance within the Salesforce environment.
  6. Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring coding standards and best practices are met.
  7. Provide clear, organized, and well-documented code and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of professional Salesforce development experience, with a strong focus on Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and SoQL.
  2. Experience with LWC lifecycle methods, data binding, event handling, and responsive UI design.
  3. Proficiency in Apex, including writing unit tests, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes.
  4. Solid understanding of Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST, Bulk API), integration patterns, and best practices.
  5. Familiarity with Salesforce security models, governor limits, and performance optimization techniques.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  7. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  8. Salesforce certifications: PD1 (Platform Developer I) required; PD2 (Platform Developer II) highly preferred.
