We are currently seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer - Remote US Position

We are looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer with extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including its best practices, architecture, and system integrations with external platforms. This role demands a hands-on professional who will lead the development of logical models, maintain comprehensive documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized processes and tools. A successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for driving efficiency and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem.

US Citizenship is required for this role. GSOC verification will be required post selection.

Day to Day / Job Function

1. Gather requirements, define, design and implement DevOps architecture.
2. Deploy releases to various environments and perform Hotfixes and Rollbacks as needed
3. Write build scripts & pipelines to implement end-to-end build and deployment orchestration.
4. Verify successful continuous delivery deployments
5. Define and implement branching strategies to support parallel software development
6. Review continuous delivery validation builds for failures and resolve deployment issues with Development & Configuration teams
7. Advanced GIT skills move development and configuration work between version control branches
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Required Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required for this role. GSOC verification will be required post selection.
• 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce consulting role that include completing at least 4 projects in a development role
• 5+ years of experience using DevOps best practices and modern CI/CD design principles within an Agile environment
• 5+ years of experience developing custom business logic in APEX, writing test classes, creating LWC Visualforce Pages and Triggers.
• 5+ years experience with any of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Copado, Flosum or other CI/CD tools
• Deep understanding of scratch orgs & proficient working with implementing package-based deployments in Salesforce.
