Position: Salesforce DevOps Engineer - Remote US

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, thorough knowledge of the Salesforce platform, its best practices, architecture, and system integrations with other platforms is required. This role involves hands-on work to create logical models, documentation, and collaborate on designing and implementing processes and tools.

US Citizenship is required for this role. GSOC verification will be required post-selection.

Responsibilities

1. Gather requirements, define, design, and implement DevOps architecture.
2. Deploy releases to various environments, perform hotfixes, and rollbacks as needed.
3. Write build scripts and pipelines to facilitate end-to-end build and deployment orchestration.
4. Verify successful continuous delivery deployments.
5. Define and implement branching strategies to support parallel software development.
6. Review validation builds for failures and resolve deployment issues with development and configuration teams.
7. Utilize advanced GIT skills to manage development across branches.
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering continuous improvement and learning.

Qualifications

1. US Citizenship is required; GSOC verification will be conducted post-selection.
2. 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce consulting role, with at least 4 project completions in a development role.
3. 5+ years of experience with DevOps best practices and CI/CD principles within an Agile environment.
4. 5+ years developing custom business logic in APEX, writing test classes, creating LWC, Visualforce Pages, and Triggers.
5. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Copado, or Flosum.
6. Deep understanding of scratch orgs and proficiency with package-based Salesforce deployments.
