Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is hiring DevOps talent across levels from Senior DevOps Engineer to DevOps Architect to support enterprise Salesforce implementations.

This role emphasizes deployment orchestration, collaboration with Delivery Managers, and direct client engagement to architect scalable DevOps solutions. You will work hands-on on design, deployment execution, and governance, balancing enterprise needs with security and performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Salesforce DevOps or 10+ years CRM with 8+ years on Salesforce
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce product suite and deployment strategies
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems
• Understanding of Git Flow and trunk-based development practices
• Experience with Docker image building and pipeline security integration
• Familiarity with test automation and code quality tools
• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience in CS/Tech
• Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain on hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables
• Assess and improve existing DevOps processes and tooling
• Design and implement DevOps solutions tailored to client needs
• Drive selection and implementation of DevOps tools and technologies
• Lead design sessions and document best practices across engagements
• Develop and enforce governance models for deployments
• Provide governance and oversight of Salesforce projects
• Ensure reliable continuous delivery across environments
• Support pre-sales activities with technical deep dives and PoCs
• Collaborate with Salesforce product teams to support implementations
• Advocate AI-first development workflows to accelerate CI/CD and deployment processes
• Travel to client sites as needed (50–75%, Architect level)
