Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Manager to oversee and drive the successful implementation and management of Salesforce solutions within our organization. This role focuses on aligning technical delivery with business objectives, ensuring high-quality solutions, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of Salesforce projects, including planning, execution, and deployment.
  • Manage the development lifecycle, ensuring best practices, code quality, and efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and business systems analysts to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce initiatives, providing expertise and guidance.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of developers and admins, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Ensure the team successfully provides day-to-day support, delivers regular enhancements, and drives larger initiatives and projects to completion.
  • Implement and maintain scalable, out-of-the-box solutions, minimizing technical debt and leveraging existing Salesforce features.
  • Ensure robust integration with other systems, such as Hubspot and NetSuite, optimizing data flow and process efficiency.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in DevOps, including deployment strategies, conflict resolution, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of the Salesforce org, addressing issues, resolving technical debt, ensuring system security, and driving continuous improvement based on system health metrics.
  • Partner with System Integrators on large-scale initiatives to ensure successful implementation and alignment with internal standards.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks proactively.
  • Proactively recommend innovations and platform enhancements to optimize system performance and business value.
  • Ensure that Salesforce initiatives and operations drive measurable business outcomes, improve user adoption, and align with strategic goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical details into business insights and vice versa.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role, with a strong focus on Salesforce.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and Certinia.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, development practices, and integration strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing technical talent.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as Flosum, for managing Salesforce deployments.
  • Experience with integration platforms like Boomi and other business systems like NetSuite is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work through technical debt and maintain a clean, scalable system.
  • Ability to define and track KPIs for system health, support effectiveness, and project delivery quality, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality, scalability, and value delivery across all Salesforce initiatives.

Bonus or Equity
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 101,500.00 - 188,500.00
