Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. invites an on-site Salesforce Developer Intern to join its Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA offices for an 11-week paid summer program.

You will contribute to Salesforce development, DevOps, and platform integrations while learning from senior engineers, administrators, and release managers. The program runs May 17 – July 30, with mentorship, professional workshops, and opportunities for future full-time consideration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with Java, C#, Python or similar object-oriented language.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL; interest in APIs and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Support Salesforce administration and configuration (page layouts, permission sets).
• Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components; support integrations with Snowflake and Data 360.
• Write automated unit tests, participate in code reviews and CI/CD activities.
• Create test plans, execute tests, report defects, and document results.
• Apply Cambridge software development lifecycle and quality gates; contribute to release activities.
• Document workflows and participate in Agile sprint planning with user stories.
