Job summary

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio is seeking a Software Development Specialist 2 in Columbus to develop Apex classes, triggers and Salesforce components, and to support core business applications. This role will integrate Salesforce with external systems, work with MuleSoft, SSIS and Tableau, and provide production support.

The IT Department offers development opportunities, adherence to coding standards and regular status reporting.

Qualifications

48 mos. combined work experience in designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications.
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs or custom web services.
Knowledge of development standards, testing, deployment, and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

Develop Apex classes, triggers, Web Components, and Flow automations to extend Salesforce functionality.
Contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce applications.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs or custom web services.
Work with MuleSoft, SSIS, and Tableau to build and maintain system integrations.
Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Salesforce and related IT systems.
Create and maintain technical documentation including system design documents and user guides.
