Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, a leading LTL carrier, is hiring a Salesforce Developer II to design and build world-class Salesforce applications, with emphasis on CRM and Tableau analytics. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to deliver scalable solutions, integrate systems, and support Tableau dashboards across environments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 4+ years of Salesforce development experience; competitive benefits and career

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with business and technical teams.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• Experience using GitHub or other version control software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
• Assist with estimation of work effort and scheduling.
• Assist with releases, deployments, and code updates.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test stability and functionality of the application; fix bugs.
• Maintain security and integrity of the application software.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
