Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design and build world‑class Salesforce applications and Tableau visualizations. You’ll collaborate with business analysts and admins to deliver scalable CRM solutions that drive key business decisions.

The role requires 4+ years of Salesforce development, experience with Apex and dashboards, and solid SQL skills. A strong communicator who can integrate systems will thrive in our team‑oriented, growth‑minded culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification preferred.
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Experience developing dashboards using Tableau (2+ years).
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Proficiency in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce as needed.
• Estimate work effort and participate in release cycles.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third‑party services.
• Test, troubleshoot, and maintain application security.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
