Sagent in Addison, Texas is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design and build the next generation of our Salesforce platform. You will work with stakeholders across IT and Operations to shape architecture, development practices, and integrations.

The role blends hands-on development with solution design and platform administration, focusing on Field Service and Service Cloud while expanding across Sales Cloud, Knowledge, Agentforce, and external integrations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Must live within a reasonable commute of Addison, TX and be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
At least 3 years of Salesforce development experience.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to solve complex technical problems independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud.
Salesforce development with Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL.
Proficiency with Work Order → Service Appointment model.
Salesforce data models and automation.
External systems integration with REST APIs and event-driven patterns.
Salesforce security: permissions, roles, sharing, and access.
Software development fundamentals: source control, testing, deployment, code review.
Troubleshooting complex Salesforce apps, data, and integrations.
Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture in Salesforce (Platform Events, CDC).
Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
Design and enhance Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud solutions supporting Cases, Work Orders, Service Appointments, scheduling, dispatch, and related processes.
Work directly with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs, Named Credentials, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and other appropriate patterns.
Troubleshoot complex application, data, integration, automation, and performance issues.
Participate in architecture decisions and help establish development, testing, source-control, deployment, and documentation standards.
Support Salesforce administration and configuration where needed, including security, permissions, data, objects, and automation.
Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities, including Agentforce and AI-enabled functionality, and recommend practical opportunities to improve business operations.
