Astor & Sanders Corporation in McLean, VA seeks a Salesforce Developer/Architect to design, build, and lead Salesforce solutions that align with business needs. This full-time, hybrid role requires deep expertise in customization using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and declarative tools, plus proven ability to mentor juniors and guide stakeholders.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer/Architect.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field.
Active Salesforce certification.
Extensive experience customizing and configuring Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and declarative tools such as Process Builder and Workflow Rules.
Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools.
Experience with Salesforce CPQ and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.
Lead the development and implementation of Salesforce projects, including configuring and customizing the platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates and new features, and provide recommendations on leveraging new functionality.
Participate in system and integration testing, as well as user acceptance testing.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
