Qualifications

• One (1) year of Salesforce development experience for Level I; two (2) years for Level II; four (4) years for Level III; eight (8) years for Level IV
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant field; in lieu of a degree, six (6) years of experience required
• Hands-on technical experience with Salesforce development or configuration in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, flows, and declarative tools
• Proficiency in Salesforce platform development, including Apex classes/triggers, LWCs, and APIs
• Familiarity with Salesforce configuration, including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and permissions
• Knowledge of SOQL/SOSL and data model design
• Knowledge and familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge and familiarity with testing techniques, including unit and system testing
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Salesforce certification required for Level II
• Advanced Salesforce certifications required for Level III
• Multiple Salesforce certifications required for Level IV
• Level III: demonstrated intermediate ability to manage integrations and experience leveraging and promoting reusable components
• Level IV: subject matter expertise in two or more organizational technologies; experience setting up Salesforce from the ground up; ability to understand and apply AI use cases within Salesforce; ability to optimize usability, security, and performance; ability to advise on release pipelines, quality assessment, load testing, and cloud resource estimation
• Ability to communicate and partner with team members, leadership, and business stakeholders
• Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed
• Ability to work prolonged periods at a workstation and on a computer
• Regular and reliable attendance is required

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and test Salesforce system solutions in response to business requirements
• Understand user stories and identify appropriate designs
• Code to design specifications and complete unit testing
• Collaborate with IT teams, business teams, stakeholders, and leadership through requirements definition, design, build, delivery, and user acceptance testing
• Consult on and influence project direction while advocating for best practices
• Ensure delivered products function fully, meet business requirements, and satisfy stakeholder expectations
• Develop code; analyze, research, and resolve system issues
• Create and maintain application documentation
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, daily standups, and on-call rotation
• Create individual work plans, specifications, and programs
• Support documented IT processes and standards
• Provide mentorship according to level, from Associate Developers to all technical staff
• Identify deficiencies, best practices, and organizational standards
• At senior levels, assist with Salesforce architecture, risk mitigation, integrations, reusable components, AI use cases, usability, security, performance, release pipelines, quality assessment, load testing, and cloud resource planning
• Ability to communicate and partner with team members, leadership, and business stakeholders
• Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed
