Job summary

Aureon is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect in the United States to lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and workflow automations.

You will translate business requirements into technical specs, collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, build Apex/Lightning components, and ensure security, scalability, and maintainability while staying current with platform updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years developing on the Salesforce platform with complex solutions and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions including custom apps and integrations.

• Collaborate with analysts, PMs, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and workflow automations.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and other Salesforce-specific technologies.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, and third‑party applications.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of all Salesforce solutions delivered.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, releases, and best practices; proactively recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support for Salesforce applications.
• Document technical designs, processes, and procedures; ensure compliance with corporate standards.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform, with a focus on complex solutions and integrations.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and additional modules preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Salesforce Developer and/or Architect certifications strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of data migration, data modeling, and data management best practices.
• Background in integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications (ERP, marketing automation, etc.).

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE:

• Strong focus on sales facing services (Salesforce, ConnectWise, ZoomInfo, DocuSign)

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Primarily indoor work, primarily in office environments
• Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of computer screen.
• No unusual physical requirements
