A private family office is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to lead the continued development, administration, and improvement of its Salesforce platform.
Salesforce is the organization’s primary business system and supports research, gift processing, grantmaking, due diligence, relationship management, internal operations, and interactions with grant recipients. The existing environment is functional but underutilized, with limited documentation and significant opportunity to improve its structure, capabilities, and user experience.
This role will be approximately 60% Salesforce development, 30% Salesforce administration and platform support, and 10% cross-cutting team support as needed. The Salesforce Developer will design and build custom solutions, improve the existing platform, and serve as the organization’s primary internal Salesforce subject matter expert, and be a liaison to the team’s day-to-day essential functions.
The successful candidate will work closely with a small internal team, non-technical business stakeholders, and an external Salesforce development partner. This individual must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, iterative, and often ambiguous environment, creating structure, establishing best practices, and advising the organization on how to better use Salesforce over time.
