Build, enhance, test, deploy, and support Salesforce applications under the guidance of Senior/Lead Developers and Architects. The Developer should have solid hands-on platform skills, a strong engineering mindset, and the communication skills needed to work effectively in a collaborative delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce configuration.
- Implement approved business requirements and technical designs.
- Develop bulkified and governor-limit-compliant Apex code.
- Build unit tests and maintain appropriate code coverage and quality.
- Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components and Salesforce automation.
- Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and standard integration patterns.
- Assist with asynchronous processing, Platform Events, CDC, and other platform capabilities as required.
- Participate in code reviews, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
- Support deployments through established CI/CD and release-management processes.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in estimation, sprint planning, daily collaboration, demos, and retrospectives.
- Maintain technical documentation and communicate progress, blockers, and technical issues proactively.
- Collaborate effectively with Senior Developers, Lead Developers, Architects, QA, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce data/security concepts.
- Understanding of Salesforce governor limits, bulkification, and test-driven development practices.
- Working knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and JSON/XML.
- Experience with Git, Salesforce DX, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
