York Solutions is hiring a Salesforce Developer. You are responsible for designing and developing customized solutions. Consultant will be the subject matter expert and own the platform architecture, ensuring it meets both functional and non-functional needs. Able to identify and drive architectural improvements to accelerate configuration changes, ensure platform resilience, and maintain a high standard of security. Role includes custom development, integrations, data migrations, and adoption of third-party applications. Role will lead DevOps practices, ensuring Salesforce changes are delivered with quality, speed, and compliance.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Own Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Design and build on the Lightning Web Components (LWC) framework, with Aura and Visualforce
• Apply Flow-first automation principles, including migration of legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automations to Flow.
• Lead integrations with external systems using APIs and middleware, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.
• Implement modern CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DevOps Center, Git, and automated testing frameworks (Apex unit tests, Jest for LWC).
• Replace legacy Change Set practices with source-driven deployments and version control best practices.
• Enforce Lightning Web Security (LWS) standards, CSP compliance, and secure coding practices.
• Partner with product teams and business stakeholders to align Salesforce capabilities with goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (preferred).
• 7+ years of software development experience with at least one full-cycle Salesforce implementation.
• 3–5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum delivery (user stories, iterative development, sprints); Scrum certification a plus.
• 3+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud experience.
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce DX, sf CLI, and VS Code with Salesforce Extensions.
• Skilled in Apex, SOQL, LWC (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and capable of maintaining legacy Visualforce and Aura components.
• Experience with third-party Salesforce applications such as DocuSign and FinancialForce/Certinia
• Working knowledge of database scripting (e.g., MySQL) and intermediate proficiency in JavaScript and C#.
• Familiar with CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM) and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) a plus.
• Certinia experience (Certinia fka FinancialForce).
