Kforce is seeking a Salesforce Developer in Houston, TX. You will design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions across the full development stack and build integrations with internal and external systems.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with deep Apex, LWC, Visualforce, REST and SOAP skills, and a track record of delivering scalable, secure solutions while guiding offshore teams.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Salesforce Developer. What You\'ll Do:

  • Partner with the development lead to align on priorities and deliver high-impact C\&I initiatives
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions across the full development stack
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using a variety of patterns and mechanisms
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to offshore development teams, including code reviews, ticket clarification, and unblocking work across time zones
  • Triage, diagnose, and resolve Salesforce production issues with minimal business disruption
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and administrators to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation, configuration, and platform components
  • Uphold platform security, governance, and development best practices throughout the SDLC
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 6+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience
  • Proficiency in Apex - including triggers, classes, batch, scheduled, queueable, and future jobs
  • Experience building UI solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce pages, components, and controllers
  • Ability to generate PDFs within Salesforce using Visualforce‑based rendering or third‑party document generation tools
  • Experience with inbound REST APIs via @RestResource annotated Apex classes, outbound REST callouts using HttpRequest/HttpResponse, inbound SOAP web services via the webservice keyword, and outbound SOAP callouts via WSDL‑generated proxy classes
  • Familiarity with event‑driven integration patterns including Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Outbound Messages
  • Experience with Named Credentials, Auth Providers, and External Services for secure and declarative integrations
  • Hands‑on experience with middleware or ETL platforms such as MuleSoft or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration including custom objects, fields, relationships, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, and Custom Labels
  • Experience creating and managing Email Templates in both Classic (text, HTML, Visualforce) and Lightning (Enhanced Letterhead, Lightning HTML) formats
  • Ability to build Reports, Dashboards, and custom Report Types
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model including Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Profiles, user management, role hierarchy, and sharing rules
  • Experience with Flow - including Screen, Auto‑launched, Record‑triggered, and Scheduled Flows - as well as validation rules, formula fields, and roll‑up summary fields
  • Familiarity with deployment tools including Change Sets, Salesforce DX, and Metadata API
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model and governor limits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
